"Arjuna, not even a leaf can move without my consent...."

Jai Gurudev!!
I think I should write a post everyday, the rate at which thoughts come and I latch on to some of them.
Birthday Week for me!!
Great start to the week, with a high quality chocolate cake all over my face. So, lots of love pouring in from all sides from all countries.
We started another Happiness program this week at Renuka Swaroop vidyalaya. Its very nice how these programs are happening one after another. There was a very interesting dialogue that I heard in 'Mahabharat' that I follow on Star Plus. In that Krishna tell Bhishma," You are able to fight because I am allowing you to!! You are not dead yet because I have permitted you to live."
This is actually quite similar to one of the shlokas in Bhagvad Geeta, where Krishna says to Arjuna, that even a leaf in this creation cannot move without my permission.
So its like that, Guruji is giving me so many chances to be of use. We are planning to have the next one just the week ending with Guru Purnima.
Wonderful batch of participants, in this program, which will probably culminate with a QnA session with Amit bhaiyya. Its amazing how much difference just some discipline can make to ones life. Just doing pranayam and kriya has brought so much brightness to their faces. Just so wonderful to see.

In other news , work going well. Will be put on another project from Monday. So that should be exciting. Have had some interesting breakthroughs in the current one.
I think its just a matter of being a 100 percent for those 8 hours at work. That includes reaching work on time 8:30am. I intend to start with punctuality from Monday. My PhD bug has resurfaced and I have decided to take a step in that direction. I just got all the books from one of my colleagues. Planning to give GATE next year.

I am also having an interesting time chatting with Anagha. Lets see what Gurudev thinks of this girl. I hope she does the next Happiness program.
Its funny how I mentioned to her, that most of my life revolves around one man... I actually felt so awesome saying it. Normally this is the place where words fail to come to my rescue, and I just end up staring at the screen after multiple failed attempts to form a sentence about Gurudev. :)
But thats one thing I intend to follow, read a few pages everyday and write everyday. Also listen to Gurudevs talk once everyday.

Yey..great...another nice post..

Love,
Shailesh

Endurance

Jai Gurudev!!...

Notes for this week..

1. As I listened to one of my friends, while waiting for a glimpse of  Him.... "Endurance" is one of the qualities that one needs to have in order to be on this path. Its the perfect antidote to desperation and cribbing for attention... How much can you endure? Its a very interesting test of ones strength, as to how much can u take on...

2. This I think I sort of realized, that Guruji has his own way of taking an exam, He will test how well founded you are in the knowledge, the five points. He will create situations so that I get a chance to grow.
All the six days of the course will be revised in just a few hours of His presence.

3. The level of compassion or love He has is so much, that after a point I actually feel guilty as being His devotee. The amount of crib and noise I generated in Pune as well as when I was in the ashram, just so that I get attention; He just sidelined it, and flashed me the most loving smile of all. Its like His way of saying, please dont crib... I am there for you!! :)

4. Need to do something worth His time.

Jai Gurudev..

To begin with...

Hello,
Jai Gurudev.. :-)
This is one of the many efforts that I am making to 'restart'/'redo' my blog.
To make it as decorative or presentable etc. will obviously take some time. My effort would be mainly to just pen down my thoughts on  a 'daily' basis, in as few words as possible, so that I myself do not feel bored while reading it. This primarily is an exercise for me in discipline, so as to keep a tab on what I am thinking and how I react in those few moments of absolute chaos.
I would like to dedicate this entire exercise to my Guru. No amount of words can express what I feel...funny I am accepting this in a blog (a place to express in words)
All my readers, you are free to express your opinions, your thoughts etc. But please do not expect me to react or reply to any of them. Having said this, I know there are a lot of things that can be learnt from just constructive feedback. Please make a note of the adjective 'constructive' here.
My purpose to write is not impress or enthrall audiences, it is just a way for me to realize, how my mind has the capacity to come up with some of the most ridiculous or some of the most creative thoughts on the planet. Hopefully this entire process should bring some sort of coherence in my speech and my thoughts/feelings.
I intend to be as direct and discreet as possible.
Once again, I offer this entire process and its outcomes to the lotus feet of my Guru.
Thank you for everything Gurudev..
You have made every moment worth living.

Love,
Shailesh Chiplunkar
